From "Lantern 665" to the left "tank chain"

There are now good marking points for whomever would like to try out the course of the anniversary marathon on September 28, 2003. The starting line is exactly 2.76m in front of "Lantern 665" on the Strasse des 17. Juni in the direction of the Victory Column, near the "Kleinen Stern", which is the axis to the Bellevue Palace, the seat of the German president. The finish line is at the left "tank chain" of "Tank 300" of the Soviet memorial on the Strasse des 17. Juni - about 300 metres from the Brandenburg Gate.
