2003-09-26

Up-to-date reporting on the 30th real,- BERLIN-MARATHON will be centralised at www.berlin-marathon.com on this running weekend. The internet live reporting of the running marathon will be made possible by the Rundfunk Berlin Brandenburg station.

At www.rbb-online.de/marathon, RBB (Rundfunk Berlin Brandenburg) will also be reporting directly on the 30th real,- BERLIN-MARATHON live on the internet. The marathon special report offers substantial information all about the marathon, including specific information about the individual disciplines of the runners, skaters, wheelchair competitors, and the real,- MINI MARATHON. Portraits of the top athletes and favourites, as well as of participants from Berlin, current results, impressions and highlights of the day, live GPS tracking of the leading athletes, as well as live and on-demand videos will make the marathon weekend an exciting experience for internet users. In addition, those who will be at the start themselves can find the most important information about the course, starting times, and of course tips and tricks to prepare for the big day! On Sunday we will again have interesting and prominent guests in our marathon online chat room, including Waldemar Cierpinski. Find out about the current chat partners during the marathon weekend directly at www.rbb-online.de/marathon.

"Video on Demand": All marathon disciplines available to view at later times

On Saturday and Sunday, following the skating, running, wheelchair and MINI marathons, photos and results, as well as the most exciting moments will be available as “video on demand“ at www.rbb-online.de. That way you definitely won miss anything on either exciting marathon day!

On Sunday, September 28, parallel to the ARD live television broadcast, the anniversary marathon can also be seen on the internet. Everyone who cannot be at the real,- BERLIN MARATHON in person will be able to follow the start and finish of the men and women runners and wheelchair competitors, as well as the leaders of the men and women runners live on the internet.

An absolute highlight again this year will be the live tracking of the most important running groups by GPS. Visit www.rbb-online.de/marathon to follow your favourites and see where they are exactly and what times they are running at that moment.
