For years the marathon weekend in Berlin has closed with the tradition of a big party. Who doesn’t remember the celebrated victors and the dancing moves presented by some of the athletes?Party zone in the subway station

After years of celebrating in the venues “Metropol“ and the
“BKA-Luftschloss”, there will be a new party location this year. A
spectacular venue was found in the not-yet opened subway station
“Reichstag”. The cold dark rooms are currently being transformed
into a unique and atmospheric party zone. The unique facility offers a
completely new way to celebrate and it is sure to set new standards.
In the focal point of the MARATHON
A totally new concept with thus be carried out, reflecting Berlin’s urban
nature and moving it closer to the focal point of the MARATHON and of the
capital city: The Brandenburg Gate.
A Separate Skaters Party
Another new change is the separate party on the premises of the subway station
“Reichstag” on Saturday evening for the participants of the skater
marathon and the World Inline Cup. This emphasises and give tribute to the
increasing importance of inline skating within the framework of the real,-
BERLIN MARATHON.
Each participant will receive a ticket for the party valid for either night
with their race number. For partners and friends a small contribution will be
collected.
A fun party ... with a victory dance of the
champions?
You can expect an unusual and fun evening. The party starts at 8 p.m. According
to tradition, at 11 p.m. the champions will be presented. It remains to be seen
whether they will perform a victory dance there or not?!
