IAAF org: Keflezighi to run 10K in New York

The first professional men’s 10K race in Central Park since 1997

New York, USA - The 2004 Olympic marathon silver medalist and the runner-up at the ING New York City Marathon 2004, Meb Keflezighi, will open his 2005 season at the Healthy Kidney 10K on Sunday 22 May, in Central Park. 

 

For the first professional men’s 10K race in Central Park since 1997, Keflezighi joins a world-class field including reigning ING New York City Marathon champion Hendrik Ramaala of South Africa, Australian Olympian Craig Mottram, and Kenyan Patrick Ivuti.
