Tergat ready for ING New York City Marathon

He feels very good and he is training together with Robert Kipkoech Cheruiyot, who is also contesting New York

Paul Tergat the world record holder is fit to contest the ING New York City Marathon on Sunday. He had run the present world record of 2:04:55 hours at the real,- BERLIN-MARATHON in 2003. Even Haile Gebrselassie was not yet able to come near to Paul Tergat's world record.

He is fully prepared

Tergat had been suffering from a hamstring injury which forced him to withdraw from the BUPA Great North Run in September.
