Tons of money on offer in Las Vegas Marathon
The first individual crossing the finishing line will collect "The Challenge" US$50,000 bonus.

Margaret Okayo who missed the recent New York Marathon through injury will be one of the top attractions in the Inaugural New Las Vegas Marathon on December 4. The 29-year-old Kenyan a past winner of the Boston and London marathons and twice in New York where she is the course record holder, faces a strong field in the moneyspinning event.
US $ 300,000 dollars in prize money
Organisers are offering US $ 300,000 dollars in prize money and US$50,000 dollars for the winner's of the men and women's races. Additionally apart from appearance fees, Las Vegas is setting the women off before the men in a unique time handicap format and the first individual crossing the finishing line will collect "The Challenge" US$50,000 bonus.
