Great Edinburgh Run title, admitted running the Boston marathon less than three
weeks earlier, had taken a toll in the closing stages. The 29-year-old Latvian
star who was runner-up in the world class USA event,
was always confident despite her exertions there, she could return to Edinburgh and score
