As tradition dictates, the fastest female and male runners from Berlin at the BMW BERLIN- MARATHON will get to travel to the Tokyo Marathon in February.
Last year, Nele Alder-Baerens and Sven Kersten got to enjoy this trip, which is sponsored by the city partnership between Berlin and Tokyo, which is celebrating its 40th birthday this year. In exchange, the fastest male and female runners from Tokyo at their marathon get to travel every year to the marathon in Berlin.
